Central San's Results
Central San has an excellent record of maintaining the high service levels expected by our community. We remain disciplined and focused, and we continue to take the long view on strategic initiatives that could provide long-term benefits to Central San customers and our community.
Our financial health is strong; our service level is high; our infrastructure reinvestment program is solid; public policies are well thought out and best represent the public's interests; our formal employee leadership development program remains robust; and we continue to assess the competitiveness of our total compensation package for our employees relative to our peer agencies.
Central San has punched above its weight in representing and influencing local, regional, and national initiatives. Here are a few examples:
-
Central San is leading an initiative to evaluate the feasibility of building a regional Solids Handling Facility that that could effectively address PFAS concerns. If successful, this initiative would be a positive transformation for Central San and be a model for other wastewater agencies.
-
We continue our strong community outreach program for the cities we serve, our sister agencies, and other stakeholders.
