National University meets the changing educational needs of diverse student populations with multiple pathways to reach their educational goals. In addition to JFKU and National University, there are five other affiliated institutions located around the world. Mike McGill is currently Chair of the Audit Committee.​

 

Mike McGill is also a Trustee of these including City University of Seattle and Pre-College Programs.​

 

Mike McGill is currently a s a Founding Board Member and Past President (2014-2018 & 2024-2026) of the Los Medanos College Foundation. Since its formation in 1997, LMC Foundation has been committed to helping build a pathway for LMC students to fulfill their dreams by raising and allocating critical financial support for educational and career technical training programs, teaching facilities and student scholarships. ​

 

Mike McGill was a Regent and Past Chair at John F. Kennedy University (JFKU) for 26 years (1983-2009), serving as Board Chair from 1998 to 2005 and 2019-2022. Mike McGill was awarded the Kennedy Citations for Outstanding Leadership in 2004.As President of the Board, he led the move of JFKU from Orinda to purchasing our own building in Pleasant Hill, CA. In 2014, JFKU became an affiliate of the National University System and Mike McGill was elected to the Trustee of the National University (NU). ​
